Thanks for the link. I could not help but think of the Chranzanakuh (or whatever it was) post you had in December.

I have learned in the past couple weeks that I do not like tsunamis. They are an equal opportunity disaster and they do not discriminate. At the same time I see an heroic effort mounting that I believe is as nondiscriminatory as the tsunami. Despite the astouding death toll, I believe even in this terrible tragedy, God will stand on top of it, some way, some how, and make something good if it.

Perhpas compassion will be released from once cold hearts. Perhaps greed will be confronted by a desire to help. Perhaps love will overcome a multitude of evils. I have to believe that the love of God is bigger than this.
